Cord Blood Banking is a term that has been doing the rounds and gaining popularity for almost over a decade now. It is important that we understand what the term Cord Blood means. It refers to the blood that comes from the umbilical Cord and the placenta during childbirth.

I agree. I was hearing more and more about cord blood banking from my friends once they started having baby’s. When it came time for my first baby, I was interested in learning all that I could learn about it. Many people refer to it as biological insurance, and that is exactly it. You never know when or if your child will need it. I decided to bank my baby’s cord blood with PacifiCord. The stem cells found in the umbilical cord are just thrown away in the trash. Now people know better. My view is that it is “God’s” gift to my child. Why not use it if you need it?
